Scott
Williams has devoted his practice to workers’ compensation, including longshore and §7-433c claims, since 1984.
He has tried cases to conclusion in all Connecticut districts and has handled appeals to the Connecticut Compensation
Review Board, Appellate Court, and Supreme Court as well as to the Federal Benefits Review Board, Court of Appeals, and U.S.
Supreme Court.
Scott is a frequent lecturer on workers’ compensation topics and
has published articles in support of his lectures. He was
appointed to and has remained on the Chairman’s Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Advisory Panel since its inception
in 1993. He has been asked to testify as an expert on workers’ compensation issues and to mediate
complex workers’ compensation claims. Scott has been recognized by his peers as one of the Best
Lawyers in America* in the practice area of workers' compensation.
Scott's volunteer activities include serving
as General Counsel for the Wilton Soccer Association.
